The SY20 precision glass syringe is an accessory for our Drop Shape Analyzers as well as our Spinning Drop Tensiometer — SDT. The SY20 precision glass syringe is an accessory for our Drop Shape Analyzers as well as our Spinning Drop Tensiometer — SDT:

• Drop Shape Analyzers: SY20 is used for our manual dosing unit DS3205 or software-controlled dosing units DO3211/DO4011 for one liquid. The gas-tightness of the syringe plunger and the Luer-Lock connector ensure that drops are dosed in a controlled manner even with low-viscosity liquids.
• Spinning Drop Tensiometer — SDT: For many samples, disposable plastic syringes cannot be used for dosing because the sample liquid dissolves the plastic and thus gets contaminated. For such samples, use the SY20 glass syringe to ensure reliable measurement results.
