Women in Science

Nowadays, it should be no challenge or particular distinction to employ women in the same areas and positions as men. In reality, there is still a way to go. This is our reason to take the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on February 11 as an opportunity to promote the access and equal participation of females in this area worldwide.

To be honest, at KRÜSS, there was no special plan to increase the proportion of female employees in the field of science and technology. However, it happened anyway over the last decade, because often the most talented and promising applicants for our advertised job positions were women.

On the occasion of the dedicated international day, we asked five of our female colleagues in the field of science to talk about their career development and their experiences as well as challenges in their position.
