Presentations on beer foam analysis, mobile SFE measurement and powder contact angles

In October we will be present at the Biofoams, the SEPAWA and an SKZ seminar

This year, October will be dominated by knowledge transfer. Our scientifically trained customer consultants and employees will be sharing their expertise at conferences and seminars with three presentations. We look forward to meeting you at these events:

Biofoams: Analysis of beer foam

At the Biofoams from October 13 to 16 in Sorrento, Italy, Johanna Rodriguez Parra will be presenting the results of her comprehensive beer foam study carried out at the KRÜSS Applications & Science Center. In the process she will be outlining the correlations between bubble structure, foamability and foam stability.

SEPAWA: Very fast measurement of surface free energy with a novel dosing system

At the SEPAWA from October 14 to 16 in Fulda, Germany, Malte Snoyek, technical consultant at KRÜSS, will discuss an innovative method for needleless, parallel dosing and evaluation of two drops for measuring the surface free energy. Due to the very short measuring times, the method is, among others, advantageous for the quality assurance of cleaned surfaces. We would also be pleased to welcome you to our booth (stand number 158) for discussions and demonstrations of our instruments.

SKZ: Powder contact angle measurement for inkjet inks

The SKZ Kunststoffzentrum (plastics center) in Selb, Germany will be holding a seminar on the subject of The Application of InkJet Inks from October 13 to 14. During the event, our technical consultant Dr. Thomas Skrivanek will be holding a presentation on contact angle measurement of powders. This method can be used, for example, to characterize the dispersibility of ceramic powders in order to optimize the stability of inks.
