Welcome to SIS 2026 – 50th Anniversary Edition
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 50th Anniversary Edition of the Surfactants in Solution (SIS) Symposium, to be held at the Faculty of Chemical Sciences, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, from June 14 to 19, 2026 .
Since its foundation in 1976, SIS has grown into one of the world’s most respected and enduring scientific forums in the fields of surfactants, colloids, foams, emulsions, and interfacial phenomena. Over the past five decades, the symposium has travelled across the globe — bringing together leading researchers, emerging scientists, and industry innovators to share discoveries, strengthen collaborations, and advance the science at the heart of so many technologies and applications.
