Technical Consultant France & Switzerland (m/f)

For strengthening our Regional Sales Team in France we are currently looking for a Technical Consultant (m/f) in Villebon-sur-Yvette (91) or Home-Office in Rhône-Alpes region, who will cover the southern parts of France and Switzerland (French speaking regions)

Ideally, the candidate will be educated to a Baccalaureate +5 level in subjects such as Chemistry, materials science, Physics or similar with preferably an initial work experience in roles such as technical sales, application support etc. New starters will also be considered.

Your tasks

Technical Sales

  • Providing timely and professional advice to prospects and customer enquiries in relation to:

    • The different measuring techniques offered by KRÜSS
    • How these measuring techniques can be usefully applied to the customers’ applications
    • Standardisation of test methods

  • Ensuring that prospects and customers see how KRÜSS instruments work and how measurements can be carried out on their samples
  • Making sure that prospects and customers receive quotations for instrument configurations that meet their application needs and defending these solutions in competitive situations
  • Ensuring that the ongoing needs of existing KRÜSS customers are met

Education & Training

  • Educating the scientific community who are potential users of KRÜSS instruments on the measuring techniques that we provide as well as their applications in different research and industry fields
  • Ensuring on an occasional basis, that instruments are correctly installed and that the users are training on the measuring theory and the operation of the instrument
