Drop Shape Analyzer – DSA Inkjet for precision printing

Live analysis of jetted drops at InPrint 2019

Demonstration of the new Drop Shape Analyzer - DSA Inkjet on a Seiko print head

Observe jetted drops live and analyze them simultaneously: At InPrint 2019 from November 12 to 14 in Munich (Germany), we will be demonstrating the great potential of our Drop Shape Analyzer - DSA Inkjet for optimizing printing processes and inks. The innovative drop watching method of the measuring instrument captures flying drops in a particularly clear image and thus enables fully automatic optical measurements of speed and drop volume as well as many other parameters.

For the presentation at our booth, Seiko Instruments will provide us with the new RC1536 print head, which Seiko will present in parallel at its own booth (Hall A6, Booth 730). The DSA Inkjet can trigger the print electronics of this and other print heads and synchronize the drop generation with the image acquisition and analysis with microsecond accuracy.

Visit our booth and experience the DSA Inkjet together with the new Seiko print head in action: Hall A6, Booth 647.

Be also sure not to miss the talk Optimizing wetting and jetting by Dr. Martina Schulte-Borchers dealing with the importance of static and dynamic surface tension and the contact angle for printing optimization: Tuesday, 12 November, 12:50 p.m. in the New Exhibitor Pavilion
