You and your team

Serving as a liaison between KRÜSS and our customers, the Sales Development Representative plays an integral role in the growth of our business and advancement of our brand.  In partnership with sales, marketing, service, and lab services, this team identifies and generates business intelligence to produce sales opportunities, qualify leads, inform strategic campaign plans, and improve internal processes throughout the customer journey.

What there is to do
  • Sell spare parts, and contract lab services to a variety of industries and applications within assigned territory
  • Host virtual meetings with customers to give sales presentations, perform instrument demonstrations, and facilitate training
  • Proactively pursue business prospects and support Technical Sales Representatives as assigned
  • Manage and consistently update CRM (Salesforce) to ensure opportunity pipeline is accurately maintained and leads are processed in a timely manner



How you achieve it
  • Possess a four-year degree, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; a college degree is not required

  • Make effective and persuasive presentations to sell company products and services using software including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and quoting systems

  • Interest in learning about and understanding surface science principles to better understand our products and solutions

  • Work with a highly collaborative team to prioritize activities that achieve sales goals through effective time and territory management skills

  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse customer base, including existing and new customers
